Friday, April 20th- We continued learning about the letter J by gluing a paper J and a picture of jaguar onto paper for "J is for Jaguar". We also did a dot art J paper. We each had a turn making Jellybean the Jellyfish float and sink in his bottle. The children really enjoyed it!
We reviewed the number 7 and we went into various learning centers to reinforce the number 7. The children used a dry erase 7, dry erase boards to write the number 7, pegboard 7, number 7 with playdoh, and plastic eggs which the children had to match the half egg with a number on it with the half egg with the corresponding number of dots. They had lots of fun!!
We did a butterfly craft with foam butterflies, spring stickers, and rhinestone jewels. They did a great job!! They look so pretty!!
Click on the Class Photos tab to see some pictures from the last two days!!
If you can donate a package of copy/printer paper, it will be much appreciated!! We are also in need of paper towels and baby wipes as well. Thank you so very much in advance for your generosity!!!
I suggest reviewing the letter we learn each week at home for a few minutes each night. The letters are getting more difficult for the children to write as we are getting to the curved letters now. It is also a good way to reinforce letter recognition with them.
You should check out the Corpus Christi Facebook page. I try to put up pictures as often as I can, especially when we are doing something extra special!
